If I remember correctly, this worked: platformio.ini. build_flags = -D LV_CONF_INCLUDE_SIMPLE -I include ESPHome always generates an entirely new project in a build folder and builds that only with the components that the project needs. Hello, I'm sorry to hear that you are still struggling with what we considered solved. Nevertheless, I could not reproduce the problem on any IDF4.x version with CMake (clean clone). Go to lvgl and copy lv_conf_template.h as lv_conf.h into the Arduino Libraries directory next to the lvgl library folder. Open lv_conf.h and change the first #if 0 to #if 1 to enable the content of the file; Set the color .In vscode, open folder via File-> Open Folder. menu. If you do it first time - agree, when it suggests to install PlatformIO plugin, and wait when PlatformIO then install build tools and package dependencies. To build/execute, on PlafomIO tab expand desired env and click target: Note, for emulator env upload also executes compiled binary.
