I’ll be in Seoul with my family for the next two weeks. I’ll have one day to browse around for watches. Interested in vintage Seiko from 70’s to the brand new 2022 Rolex destro GMT. I plan to check out Nostime and the Jongro 4 ga area.
But buying a watch inside Korea is pretty much the same as anywhere else. Granted, the market in Seoul is not nearly as robust as Hong Kong, but there are deals if you work on it. Koreans' taste in watches tends to be mainstream brands in less than mainstream iterations (e.g. they like Rolex Datejust with diamond markers and quartz Cartiers).
